Family First provide support to families of children in Jersey with illnesses who require off island treatment. Part of the support we provide is through signposting, this means that we can point you in the direction and provide information for other support that is available to you and your family.

Emotional Support

Counselling and Emotional Support available in Jersey

The Listening Lounge is an open door when you need to talk. Tel:01534 866793

A safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space for anyone who needs to talk.

At the listening Lounge you can:

  • Drop in anytime between the opening hours (open 10am-10pm Monday to Sunday)
  • Get information about mental health and other services that could support you.
  • Speak to someone who has experienced a mental health problem themselves.
  • Self-refer for short term counselling.
  • Access online therapy.

The Community Bereavement Service is available to adults and children of all ages in need of support, whilst coming to terms with the death of a relative or a friend.

The YES Project is for any young person aged 14-25 years old. They provide free information, advice and counselling.

  • An opportunity to be listened to.
  • A time to talk to someone in confidence about anything that is worrying you and explore how you are feeling.
  • Their trained counsellors are friendly and won't make judgements about you or your problems.

A young carer is anyone who helps someone who needs support. The My Time Project gives young carers the time and space to be young people and have fun.
