The Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation
The Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation was established in 2011 in memory of Grace Crocker who grew her angel wings aged just 11 weeks old. The Foundation offer financial support to families who spend time off island for treatment with their sick child, for example, loss of earnings, travel and accommodation costs.
Friends of SCBU
Friends of SCBU was formed by a group of parents whose babies spent their first precious days and months in the dedicated care of the Special Care Baby Unit. They raise vital funds so that other parents and babies can benefit from specialist equipment and support often needed for premature and sick babies.
Jersey Children’s Charity
Jersey Children’s Charity assist children and their families through illness by providing financial support and by working closely with the children’s ward pf the Jersey General Hospital. They can offer financial support to families whilst they are off-island with their child receiving treatment. They can also assist with the purchase of medications, medical equipment when these costs are not met by the Government of Jersey.
Variety - The Children’s Charity of Jersey
Variety - the Children’s Charity of Jersey aims to ensure that all disadvantaged and special needs children have the same opportunities.
Almost on a daily basis, Variety - the Children’s Charity of Jersey receives requests from schools, health visitors, social workers, occupational therapists and other organisations who have direct dealings with families. These requests are for help with food, shoes, clothing, baby equipment and other basic needs. Variety also receives requests to provide specialist equipment for disabled children such as wheelchairs, walkers, electronic beds and supportive buggies.
CLIC - Sargent Jersey
CLIC Sargent (Jersey) aims to ensure that every Jersey family who has a child or young person with cancer receives the support they need. We retain all the money we raise in the Island so that it can be spent solely on Jersey children and their families.
CLIC Sargent (Jersey) is an independent, local charity formed to ensure that every child and young person with cancer and their family receive the support they need. We offer financial and emotional support to anyone living on the Island who is diagnosed before their 21st birthday. We work alongside the multi-disciplinary team at the hospital and with other agencies to achieve this.
