The main site is the Queen Alexandra Hospital located in Portsmouth and their staff and over 600 volunteers work across Portsmouth and South East Hampshire. Queen Alexandra Hospital Portsmouth NICU is a Tertiary neonatal intensive care unit offering medical intensive, high and special care to pre-term and sick term babies born in and around Portsmouth, the Wessex region and further afield.
Families from Jersey can often be transferred to Portsmouth with their premature babies.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Accommodation is available for parents on the unit (subject to availability) this is comprised of four rooms in a parent only area and an adjacent lounge. There are kitchen and bathroom facilities too.
Other accommodation for parents is available off the unit but on the hospital site.
There are laundry facilities available for parents/carers to use on Starfish ward-Paediatrics.
